Obama Punishes Non-Union Americans, Keeping Promises to SEIU
Your Rights Have Been Sold Out, Higher Taxes Ahead

(TTfD) Two, possibly three Americans were shocked today that Barry Obama has not realized that he is no longer a Community Organizer and the entire Democrat Party seems to be behind him in zapping hard-working Americans by over-taxing their medical benefits. He has spared the Unions, who have sweetheart health plans, but not you.
Instead of living up to his oath of “Defending the Constitution,” Obama has determined that Equal Protection no longer applies in His country. The semi self-proclaimed Constitutional Law Professor is not drawing lines in the sand based on a rich versus poor ideology, but rather based on self-interest. Without the support of unions, the Democrat voter base evaporates.
According to the much hyped Wikipedia:
“no state shall … deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws”.[1] The Equal Protection Clause can be seen as an attempt to secure the promise of the United States’ professed commitment to the proposition that “all men are created equal“[2] by empowering the judiciary to enforce that principle against the states.”
If you don’t fundamentally believe that all men are created equal, then you may fall under the Obama philosophy.
He has come a long way in a short time. Even as a Senator — a brief blip in his political career — he seemed to struggle with the constitutional definition.
In an interesting take on the issue, Townhall’s Terry Jeffrey’s 2008 story “Obama’s Class War Court,” explores what then was convenient defiance to the immigrant son Samuel Alito’s confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court.
“When the nomination of John Roberts to be chief justice of the Supreme Court came up in the Senate in 2005, Sen. Barack Obama argued that the role of a justice is to favor the “weak” over the “strong.”
When the nomination of Sam Alito came up in January 2006, he made the same argument.
Obama does not want a Supreme Court that preserves the rule of law, he wants a Supreme Court that wages class war under color of law…”
It may have been little more than political showboating. Maybe it is what he now refers to “Obstructionism,” but whatever it was, Jeffrey figured it out quite succinctly.
Continuing:
“…”The problem I had is that when I examined Judge Roberts’ record and history of public service, it is my personal estimation that he has far more often used his formidable skills on behalf of the strong in opposition to the weak,” Obama said in a floor speech on Sept. 22, 2005.
“When I examine the philosophy, ideology and record of Samuel Alito, I am deeply troubled,” Obama said in another floor speech on Jan. 26, 2006. “There is no indication that he is not a man of fine character. But when you look at his record, when it comes to his understanding of the Constitution, I found that in almost every case he consistently sides on behalf of the powerful against the powerless.”
The Constitution does not focus on these “powerless” people but the equality of all people.
In 2010, it is now evident that Obama could not care less for the poor and downtrodden. He cares about himself, his image, and the backroom deals that funded his campaign and now his agenda. The future of America stands in the balance as the red herring called Health Care Reform attempts to keep the collective public eye off of Obama’s Sale of America to radical special interests.
Unions once held an important role in America. That is nearly undeniable. They gathered exploited people and gave them hope that things could be better. And they did get better. But somewhere between there and here unions themselves became more corrupt than the companies they fought against.
Unionism has become a part of the American lexicon closely related to the mafia. And it is. It excludes people unfairly and corrupts the Democratic process with its vast reserves of money. In most states, employees of union-controlled companies either join the union or pay upwards of 90% of their dues without any representation. They may, and often do, suffer intimidation, threats and violence for holding out those few percent for themselves.
There is nothing dynamic, moral or upstanding about Obama’s days as a Community Organizer. He served as a pawn to simply get more South Chicago people to join the union. He did the bidding of buddy and SEIU chief thug Andy Stern. Community Organizing for Obama did not address the high crime of the area, the high drug use of the community, or even ways to simply make it a better place for children.
He concerned himself with Union roles and threatening and extorting those organizations that did not comply with the SEIU vision. In turn, as President, he is paying back those who put him there. No, not the voters, but rather the Union heads who truly own his soul.
Health Care reform or not, it is currently up to Americans to remind their states of their roles in protecting their citizens from the Federal government. Those who were promised no new taxes — 95% of the population — by Obama now face a tax that pays a large share of taxes for Obama’s union thug friends.
Sitting back and allowing this to happen will leave every city in America to look like Flint, MI. That’s not good.

“Big Labor got some big love from President Obama and congressional Democrats yesterday after they agreed to exempt union workers from the whopping “Cadillac tax” on high-cost health-care plans until 2018.
The sweetheart deal, hammered out behind closed doors, will save union employees at least $60 billion over the years involved, while others won’t be as lucky — they’ll have to cough up almost $90 billion.
The 40 percent excise tax on what have come to be called “Cadillac” health-care plans would exempt collective-bargaining contracts covering government employees and other union members until Jan. 1, 2018.
