Obama Bans Tax Cheats From Gov Work Except For His Appointees
Hope is … You Will Forget About Brown Win, Yesterday
(TTfD) In a move that is almost too ironic for words, President Barack Obama today attempted to live down his complete loss of credibility over the loss of a Massachusetts Senate seat and issued new rules to insure government contractors were paying their taxes.
This came as a shock to many as of course his own administration has had a great deal of problems paying theirs. Fortunately, they are exempt from his new “rule” to be found in the Federal Register as they are themselves political hacks who are above the law.
Tim Geithner was once called the only man “smart enough” to solve the financial problems of America. He probably is a genius, too. He has attended Dartmouth, studied Chinese and Japanese and received his MA from John Hopkins. But no matter how smart he is in class, he proved to America — via his own testimony to Congress — that he is unable to master the very complicated “Yes/No” answers of Intuit Software’s TurboTax.
Some may say this is the same arrogance that lost his unstoppable majority in the Senate to completely destroy the Constitution. Others will say it is a step in the right direction, and it probably is but reads more as an admission of the government not doing their job than it does that government contractors tend not to pay taxes.
Ideally, Obama would also publish a memo to his own staff — and to the corrupt Democrat majority — that they too must pay taxes. It would make so much sense I doubt it could ever happen.
