Four Blogs Making America Better, You Must Read Them!
Conservative Blogs with Different Attitudes
(TTfD) The “Blog” form has grown up, and great minds are now behind them. The genre has become so large that each and every Big Media organization wants in on it. But in truth, great things are happening behind the laptops of the Little People, the working people who take the time to read and research and publish to make sure we are well informed.
Tax Tips for Democrats has grown from a small quasi-journalist/parody site to its present form of journalism and quasi-parody. Daily, however, I make sure I stop by these outstanding reads to grow both my mind and perspective.
Here they are, in Dewey Decimal Ranking for your sorting ease:
The BoBo Files: “…I am The BoBo! I am an eeeevil Conservative Clown. I claim no political party. I was a registered Republican until that party abandoned their principles and moved way to the center to near left! The Democrats have gone so far left they may as well change their party name to Socialist. While I am Libertarian at heart, there are just way
too many other platforms they support that I just cannot get behind (legalizing drugs, etc.)…”
I got into this blogosphere after spending 2 years as a lurker over at The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler and leaving a few tidbits here and there. I finally got so fed up with our politicians and the direction our country was headed that I needed to have my own thoughts put on “paper.” Lo and behold – The BoBo Files.
BoBo runs a weekly blog carnival, giving voice to people of all schools of thought and political affiliation. He is also a Charter Member of the Domestic Bloggers Terrorist Network. BoBo has opinions, and is not afraid to share them. He’s also interested in hearing yours.
Next, a blog of a completely different ilk, often leaning non-partisan but always ready to hit hard with facts and figures. The Marc Chamot Report comes to you from the Left Coast, where Marc must stick out like a wolf in the hen house as he is far from the stereotypical surfer dude. He’s pro-America, Pro-Israel and perhaps one of the sharpest writers on the Internet.
His own story is almost as interesting as what he chooses to write about:
- The Marc Chamot Report “News, Opinions, and Commentaries on National and World Events Stories on current events that shake-up America. Published articles and essays from other sources, and by Marc Chamot on current events and the American political scene. Immigration and Economic issues and so forth that affects us all… Welcome!”
Formerly a newspaperman and an American and world political expert!
Born in Bolivia 1958 from a Swiss father Guy A Chamot, and Jewish mother Tehila Elazar. Served in the United Sates Navy from 1975-1978. Became naturalized American in 1976, Newport Rhode Island USA.He also has a superb extended family in Dr. Anna Uhl Chamot, and Alain Chamot. Marc Chamot has a wonderful wonderful daughter in Helene Annette Chamot, who is 12 years old
Stop by and get to know him, and if you feel like it, tell him he is sorely needed by full-time journalism, now more than ever.
Third up in this conservative blog roundup comes from Nashville, TN. It is the Disgruntled Republican.

Rod, the owner and chief writer, chief editor and likely the guy who takes out the garbage, voices his concerns about the Obama administration in a soothing, subtle voice. Here you find unique takes on the biggest issues, and since he is in Nashville, and not Washington, he actually can come up with answers.
Reading Rod’s work is like reading tomorrow’s newspaper. His wisdom in politics can almost always predict what happens next.
Lastly, I introduce The Axis of Stevil Show. More than a blog, it is a growing community surging with true conservatives who enjoy a good laugh and a snarky joke. Built around podcasts and videos, it is like MySpace if their offices were invaded by straight edge punks from Illinois who liked to write.
Stevil is a growing force in the movement of new conservative blogs and has built a fabulous forum for those who want to conspire with new ideas, many of which are bad, and a little “Stevil.” It’s friendly and open, and full of good solid political writing with an edge. Many of those bloggers listed on this page can be found lurking there.
